Heart + HAIR recommends washing your wig or hairpiece every 6-8 full day wears. It is imperative that you use HD Smooth every time you wear your wig to decrease frizzing. Spray 4-5 pumps after each time you wear your HD wig and set it on your wig stand.
WASH:
STEP 1: Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles with your Jon Renau Wide Tooth Comb.
STEP 2: Hold your wig or hairpiece under running cool water and set aside.
STEP 3: Emulsify about a quarter sized amount of Jon Renau Fiber Love Shampoo into your hands. Gently lather the hair with shampoo while making sure that the hair traveling in the same direction. DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling and damage to the fiber and wig cap.
RINSE & DRY:
STEP 4: Rinse thoroughly under cool water until water runs clear. Gently squeeze excess water out. Set wig on a towel and gently roll up, lightly squeezing the water out again.
STEP 5: Spray 4-5 pumps of Jon Renau Fiber Love Conditioning Spray to the bottom 3/4 of the wig. Be careful not to spray any conditioner on the cap as it will loosen the knots. Part your wig and comb into desired style. Set on your plastic wig stand for 24 hours.
STEP 6: Spray 4 pumps of HD Smooth, comb wig and put on!
